About the Department
The Department of Training and Placements strives hard to provide all possible assistance to students in their efforts to join the workforce. The department is committed to provide meaningful employment opportunities for the students, apart from also creating awareness and avenues for the students to pursue other career goals.
This commitment is reflected in the overall placement statistics. Evidently, rising above the geographical challenges, the department has been able to enable students get in to worthwhile career preferences - job, entrepreneurship/ start-up, foreign studies/ higher studies etc.
The Training & Placement department operates actively round the year to facilitate opportunities ranging from vocational training to internship to jobs.
Structure of the Department
Core
The Department of Training and Placements is committed to meet the career objectives of students while aligning them with Human Resource needs of organizations interested in conducting campus recruitments for students of the institute.
The department is monitored by management of the institute and headed by Dean - Training and Placements. He is supported by two Training & Placements Officers, a Computer Operator for secretarial assistance and maintenance of Inward/ Outward correspondences.

PAC - A Placement Assistance Cell (PAC) is created in the institute, to work in close association with the department and assist in various developmental activities and organizes various Institute level events.
PAC comprises of students of the institute who are handpicked through a process of interviews. Energetic, dedicated and disciplined students with good academic background are selected to join the PAC. The rationale behind forming this cell is to expose students to the placement drives conducted at the institute. PAC members are split in to various teams (viz. registration, online tests, hospitality, logistics etc.) and are thus groomed for better opportunities for themselves in their final year of studies.

- 6 computer labs for conduct of online/ offline tests.
- One Conference Hall with a capacity of 25 seats, with ceiling mounted Projector, Laptop, A/V output and PA system.
- Eight Interview Rooms in the same building.
- Teleconferencing facility for conduct of online interviews.
- Three rooms for Group Discussion.
